The Story of How We Began
A Leading Office & Commercial Removal Company for over 30 years
From a humble beginning as an office furniture installation company, the story of The Whole Move Company is both personal and heartfelt. Since its inception in 1986, the company has kept its core values intact and combined it with its forward-thinking vision, to grow from just an office furniture installers to a full-service removal and storage company.
Founded 1986
1986
Co-founded by Dennis Guthrie and Adrian André aka 'AJ' as an office furniture installation company, working for office furniture manufacturers.
2004
The company was rebranded to The Whole Move Company Ltd. We expanded on our services including office clearances, IT decom / recom and storage facilities.
2017
We moved to Rainham, Essex in 2017 as we outgrew our office and warehouse facility at Sugarhouse Lane, Stratford London.
2020
Sadly, we lost one of our co-founder, Adrian 'AJ' André to cancer. A huge setback for the company and its staff.
2021
Rebranded the company assets with our fresh new logo and built a brand new website and other marketing material.
